Tapas
My life is so boring at the moment I was almost tempted to talk about how great moon cups are and why all women should get one. However, I decided that tapas may be more appropriate.
Going out to dinner are the only bloggable things I get up to on a regular basis. Last date night Nid and I went to tapas at Tasca in New Market, Auckland. Let me tell you about tapas.
Tapas is a style of Spanish cuisine where you eat a variety of dishes as opposed to one main meal. The legend of tapas originates from an old Spanish King who recovered from an illness by eating small meals in between his wines. He ordered that all bars were not allowed to serve wine unless they were served with tapas - small meals. In many parts of Spain today, you get a tapa for free when you order drinks.
Half a litre of sangria
Croquetas and pan con tomate
Pinto beans and Spanish meatballs
Patatas bravas (potato wedges)
The saddest looking churros I've ever seen but definitely the most delicious
