Party
Busy day. A rare Saturday off. I thought I'd be relishing all the free time but I spent the day throwing out clothes, packing, and saying goodbyes before the goodbye/welcome party.
The party was quite big for AEON standards. Usually we book for about thirty people but we booked for forty this time. Can't believe so many people wanted to come! I'd like to put up all the photos but I feel bad cos most of them are of me and students. Would prefer to have permission first... but anyways we had a great night. Nomi and tabehoudai (all you can eat and drink). Am going to miss that when I get back to New Zealand. I mean, it was only about $35 NZD each and the food and drinks are good!

| Speech |
I was really, really super nervous about my speech much to the surprise of my students. They all think AEON teachers are born to be public speakers. Anybody who knew me through high school knows how much I hated speech day. But anyway, I think the speech was a success because everybody didn't seem too offended and they all laughed in the right places.
After last order we went to karaoke at around midnight. I'm leaving Japan in true Japanese fashion. We were only supposed to stay until 3am but we decided to pull an all-nighter because it was too much of a hassle trying to organise transport with the subway closed until 6am.
I got home at 7am. Very tired.
